Detox Week

Here we are!
The new year has begun and we want to start with a list of good intentions. Our tips for a good start is to begin slowly. Find the time to detox a week or at least 5 days, combining a lifestyle that is as peaceful as possible.
We are not nutritionists but we can give you some tips to help your body find the lightness it needs during a period of excess such as holidays.
First important thing: sleep the hours needed for adequate rest, at least 7.
Wake up in the morning not too late, possibly before 8 and drink a nice glass of water. Your body spent at least seven hours without ingesting any liquid, for beautiful skin you need hydration!
Drink at least two and a half liters of water throughout the day.
After 15-20 minutes, have a good breakfast with fresh fruit, nuts, and whole grains, such as oats.

You can cook the oat flakes with the same amount of water and after a few minutes remove from the heat (3-4 minutes). Top with fresh chopped fruit and 10 almonds or nuts to your liking.
Avoid coffee if you can, don't smoke and don't drink alcohol. Also avoid eating foods and drinks containing sugar or refined flours. Avoid dairy products, sausages and sauces.
Mid-morning make a smoothie with fruits and vegetables, add ginger root for a boost effect. With cucumbers you will have an extra supply of idratation.

Take advantage of the beneficial properties of herbal teas, you can drink as many as you want, as long as you change the ingredients often.
For main meals, always learn to combine cereals with cooked and raw vegetables, or proteins and vegetables.
Do not eat anything else after dinner, if you feel the need to eat something, try drinking a herbal tea or at least nibble on raw vegetables, such as carrots or fennel.
Finally, remember to do some physical activity, a brisk walk, some exercises at home.
Love your body and take care of it, because it is the one who hosts your mind. Learn to listen to your body and you will have a great start for a wonderful year.
